Request: Match Cubasis Horizontal Zoom Behavior to Cubase

When performing Zoom In Horizontally or Zoom Out Horizontally, the zooming is always anchored to the left side of the screen.

I would prefer the zoom behavior to be anchored to the playhead, just like in Cubase.

I have been using Cubase for over 30 years and Cubasis for about 10 years, but this difference in zoom behavior still causes confusion for me.

Cubasis supports both horizontal and vertical zooming in the Arrange Window, which can be done in two ways:

  • Pinch and zoom (using thumb and index finger) above the track list to zoom vertically.
  • The same gesture above the Arrange Window zooms horizontally.

In addition, you can enable and use the Zoom Panel control, which can be activated via: Setup → User Interface → Show Zoom Panel.

I have a request regarding horizontal zooming using the zoom panel or keyboard shortcuts (H and G in the Cubase style).
Currently, the zoom operation is anchored to the left edge of the track.
I would like it to zoom in and out based on the playhead instead, just like in Cubase.
