In some tight situations, it would be advantageous to put the condensation labels inside rather than outside the dynamics (in other words closest to the staff lines rather than furthest away from the staff lines). Of course, you can move the objects manually in Engrave mode, but that will just confuse Dorico’s automatic staff spacing, so a native option would obviously be better. Does this make sense?

We’re unlikely to be able to implement this option in isolation. It would only be possible as part of a more thoroughgoing revamp to how Dorico decides to perform collision avoidance for items outside the staff. This is not something likely to be added imminently.
Your answer did not come unexpected, given how well thought out everything is within Dorico. 
I guess adjusting things manually will have to do for now. Luckily, that’s usually not lethally painstaking.
