I constantly change the audio output, one time headphones, the next speakers, the next other earbuds, etc. I have to do a few steps to change.
Perhaps add a little menu at the top of the Play section of Preferences?
Perhaps a selection in the Play dropdown menu?
Also, i must often restart Dorico to change the audio output, if i change the Mac system output while Dorico is running. Is this necessary? Possible to fix?
Set yourself a key command for Application>Device Setup?
My impression was, you can make a key command for an existing menu item. ?? Checking it out now. Anyway thanks for the suggestion!
Ah yes, there it is. In the dropdown menus it’s Edit/Device Setup, useful, but in Preferences it’s Application/Device Setup.
Key combo made, works fine. Thanks again!
The Device Setup… command is also at the bottom of the Edit menu, and that’s how I usually use it. Kind of a weird place, maybe, but easy to use. (oops, I saw you just posted this, sorry…)
