Hi friends –
I’m fussing w my MioXL MIDI splitter, trying to get it to cooperate w Cubase. Anyone have one of those things? They’re great, but not very intuitive.
Having sold a bunch of synths recently, I finally made changes within the MioXL, erasing the old routings, saving everything current as a new preset on the device. Unfortunately, the changes don’t seem reflected in Cubase – I still see the old, sold keyboards as potential MIDI options.
Is there a way to have Cubase rescan for MIDI? Or am I more likely doing something wrong within MioXL?
Thanks!

Yeah, you have to go into your Audio Midi Setup, show the Midi Studio window, and then delete your mioXL instance and add it back. Then the new, updated values you added to your “Auracle X” config will show up.
Thanks so much, Thor. Of course. That said, do you have any secrets for accomplishing that task? I can see the MioXL within Audio Midi Setup’s MIDI STUDIO, but the minus sign is grayed out. Tried creating a new preset within MIDI STUDIO, but the MioXL still shows up w. the old info. I’ve got a note to iConnectivity to see if they can help too.
Oh, sorry… You have to disconnect it from USB first. Once you do that, you can then use the “-” to delete it
Then just connect it back up.
