Reset Engraving Options to factory, and undoing that reset

I’m going to be doing a Dorico demonstration and want to reset the chord symbols (and basically everything in Engraving Options) to factory defaults, but I don’t want to lose all the settings I’ve changed over time.

I’m assuming I can open a new project, “Reset to factory” (which I assume will change everything in Engraving Options at once), and do my demo… then I can open an existing project of mine, and in Engraving, “Set as Default,” which will return the defaults to how I had them?

Just wanting to make sure before I take the leap. :sunglasses:

Yes, of course.
On the other hand, the act of hitting “Reset to Factory” doesn’t actually wipe your defaults; it just resets that one project to factory settings.

If you want to demo Dorico in it’s default state. Create another user account to do the demo from. Then there is no danger of mucking up any of your personal settings.
