reset midi keyboard?

hi there,

I have a MIDI keyboard attached to my laptop via USB and it used to work fine with Dorico the first few times, but then it stopped recognizing the keyboard. Is there a way to reset the MIDI somehow to make it work again?

Have you tried restarting your computer?

yup! restarting the computer, re-inserting the keyboard into the USB, re-starting dorico, all of that stuff.
is there a prefs file I should trash?
(I’m on a Mac)

There prefs under /Users//Library/Preferences/VSTAudioEngine
You could delete that whole folder and try again.
If it still doesn’t do, then please zip up that folder and post here. I’ll then can get some deeper insights.
One more question, does the MIDI keyboard work with other apps?
