For whatever reason the song I’m working on sounds more natural if I lop a 16th note off when a certain part comes in. How do I do that but reset it so my metronome isn’t wonky for the rest of the song?
Assuming the song is 4/4, set the Time Signature to 15/16 for one bar, then back to 4/4 for the rest of the song.
I think you need to create a preset for your 15/16th time signature, too, if you want to hear the metronome accordingly. You can easily customize it using the metronome dialogue.
Btw: This can indeed be an interesting signature twist, cool!
