Reset to Save Defaults for several layouts at once

The “Reset to Saved Defaults” function in Layout Options is a really very usefull feature, it can help to save a lot of time.
Is there a reason why it is not possible to apply this function to more than one layout at once?
When I select more than one layout the option is greyed out.
It would be usefull to be able to aply this function to all parts layouts for example or to some selected layouts.

I agree this would be nice to change. The reason it works the way it does is to avoid any problems where the UI would get into an inconsistent state based on whether or not the selected layouts can be reset to the saved defaults, but this could of course be overcome.
