I understand how to set track and event colors. What I don’t understand is how to reset tracks and events that are colored back to the default colors.

There is no default color.
If I look in Cubase Preferences I see default colors for each track type. Those are the colors that I am referring to.
Thanks. During that is exactly what I needed.
You can also do something like this and use the project logical editor and a macro to change the colors. In the project color setup name a color “default”. Create a setting in the PLE as below and then a macro. and assign it to a key command. Select a track or tracks and press your key command. This will name all of your selected tracks and events to the “default” color. Set as many colors as you want with macros. Hope this helps.
