Resolution Shortcut

I don’t know the correct name for this, but in the lower left of the screen, the user can choose the note duration for the caret/grid. Is there a key command for this? The graphic interface is fine on my big screen/computer, but a little fiddly on a laptop. Thanks.

I hope this makes sense. I couldn’t take a picture because this function hides when I try to do a Windows screen snip.

Thanks.

That’s called the rhythmic grid. There are default key commands for increasing/decreasing the resolution, and you can also program key commands for specific resolutions.

Thank you! I also found out that Alt+[ and Alt+] make it shorter or longer.

Those are the default key commands for decreasing/increasing resolution. Personally, I think in terms of smaller/larger grid values, which works in the other direction (decreasing resolution = larger grid values), so I reversed these shortcuts – [ for smaller values and ] for larger values.
