Hi, just wondering why the lyrics are clashing–don’t they usually auto-space to avoid collisions?
Layout Options > Note Spacing. Is “Make Space for Lyrics” ON?
Are you in Page View?
How full is the system? (Check the % in Engrave mode.)

Ah, I was in galley mode! I didn’t realize the collision is resolved in page mode. Thanks, benwiggy!
Galley View is just an environment for entering notation without worrying about page breaks and layout. There is no vertical adjustment, and horizontal spacing is limited.
