Rest consolidation error

There is a rest consolidation error here for upper voice (Drumset)
How to fix?
(There are no removed rests, end/start voice)

Hi @GeirSol

What is the time signature? To my novice eyes it looks like an alternating 6/8 – 7/8. Can you post a snippet?

It’s 6/8
(But yes, is displayed as 7/8)

If you select the kick drum+snare drum notes on the first beat (dotted quarter), don’t you have Ends Voice activated?

Thanks — I was wondering if the added sixteenths affected it somehow. And I should have been more clear. By “snippet” I meant a piece of the dorico file. I’m sure someone could take a look and figure out why that’s happening.

(Looks like @charles_piano is already on it!)

No, that’s not the case

Oh. Yes, here is a reduced file
Homecoming Dulicia_Drums.dorico (1.7 MB)

I’m not sure I understand what’s happening here… The “wrong” dotted quarter rests belong indeed to the cymbal voice, so they have the good duration.

If I re-enter the KD/SD notes, the rests appear correctly (I re-entered the 1st beats of 21 & 23)
