Rest Discrepancy in Condensed voices

How can I fix this problem? On the first measure of music, you can see the rest are divided and matching the notes in the Oboe and Clarinet parts, but I want to make it like on the other image, to show just a whole rest.

Hi Fabio – As with your other condensing question, we need a Dorico project file in order to be sure what’s going on. Preferably a cut-down version that shows the issue without a lot of other content.

Here is the File:
Cut-downVersion.dorico (1.5 MB)

The condensed measures that contain unwanted splits of the measure rest in part two have explicit rests in those parts. Erase the explicit rests, and the measures will look as you wish.

I am trying to erase the rests but I can’t in the condensed mode, I tried to go to “Galley view” to erase the rest in the individual part, but it didn’t work, I don’t know if I got it wrong.

See this post for an explanation of why this problem is happening. In your cut-down version, move the condensing change in bar 13 to the beginning of that bar and use manual condensing to force the first flute to use an up-stem voice and the second flute to use a down-stem voice. Then use manual condensing to do the same thing for the clarinets. In your original project, you will need to add additional condensing changes to reset the condensing for the flutes and clarinets later.
