Rest in 2nd voice in pick-up bar

How do I write this;

Adding a note in 2nd voice and deleting removes the note, but does not show the rest as Dorico usually does.

Seems reasonably straightforward to me:

  1. Show the caret at the start of the pick-up bar.
  2. Hit V to cycle to the down-stem voice.
  3. Hit O for Force Duration.
  4. Hit , (comma) for rest input.
  5. Hit 6 to specify a quarter duration.
  6. Hit any note key, or hit Y.
