Rest Properties Disappear Upon Condensing

Hello all, I’m a Sibelius refugee new to the forum. I’ve found Dorico largely an improvement, though the Condensing features offered have been causing more headache than help. There’s no built-in way to hide rests without deleting them based on my search, so I’ve elected to change their scale to 1% to effectively hide them without mutilating my parts. Unfortunately, when I activate condensing the condensed staves will have full-sized rests again. A similar effect happens when trying to change the notes’ color or when changing them into implicit rests to hide them. Is there a workaround here or is Dorico incapable of “hiding” rests in condensed staves?
Screenshots and score file are attached below.

Welcome to the forum, Noah.

I’m afraid at the moment you cannot edit rests on condensed staves. It’s not possible to manipulate them at all in condensed music. This is one of the more impactful limitations of condensing, and one which we do plan to ameliorate as soon as possible.
