Have you already spent a lot of work on that session? If this is not the case you could try this: close the project without saving it first. This way, your previous key commands might theoretically still be present within your current profile because changes are saved while exiting Cubase. Maybe this leaves the key commands file intact as well, I have never tried that. The manual left out a couple of important aspects related to Profiles so here’s a little overview on Profiles. I have been working with Profiles for ages because they do not only save key commands but also include a lot of preferences and customized settings.
If you are on Windows then there’s another elegant way to save most of your preferences, settings etc. It’s this backup and restore program. I use it on a daily basis to synchronize two separate workspaces and it works like a charm. Hi and thanks again @ASM for this wonderful program ![]()
