Is it possible to show rests in an empty bar to clarify where a tempo marking is? I’d like to have two quarter rests and then a half rest here.
Well yes. You can use force duration and input explicit rests (on my computer, it’s o and comma) wherever you need…
But is there a way to show these rests in the part without them showing in the score?
I don’t think so…
If there’s an instrument playing in that bar, you could add a cue showing that instrument’s music? Cues can be hidden/shown on a per-layout basis.
