Retaining a zoom scale

Help appreciated on editing workflow

Im editing an audio track and inserting markers. I find the positions roughly using a fully zoomed out view then place the cycle markers before zooming in to more accurately position these markers before saving them.

Is there a quick way of zooming in to the same scale ie via saving the zoom level from a previous marker position rather than tapping the +/- on the zoom slider manually.

You could use one of the zoom presets (bottom right by the slider).

Zoom to 16 bars, Zoom to 5 seconds or whatever. Or create you own preset.

Zoom undo can be a useful key command too.
