Retrologue how to fix cutoff time in Retrologue 2

As you can see in the photos, I have chosen Chart Topper as an Instrument in Retrologue 2. It sounds great! I want this to play non-stop as a bass line.

The only problem: only the first 4 notes play continuously. Each note plays a loop. The loop/pattern of this note stops after it hits the 32nd note in the pattern on the 4th measure, and then restarts on 5th bar after a break.

What setting can I change to make the notes flow together?

Hi @robyn2020 , did you try turning off the Hold ?

Yes, but that does not work.

What if you legato all notes, they wont stop and will play the 32step

Is “Chart Topper” a standard preset?

yes, it is a standard preset in Retrologue 2.

I see “legato” in the pic i attached; however, it is not a button. How can i make this all legato to see if this is the solution?

join the notes, and maybe try to switch the “restart mode” in retrologue to “sync to host”, like this the step patterns will always fallow the lenght of the notes in the midi editor.

joining the notes did not help. it still breaks up. Neither did syncing to host!

i found the answer! On Lock Arpeggiator screen there is Tempo. I selected Loop.
