yes you should try some vocals ,i`d maybe lose that out of phase effect what is right across the whole image though or just try it briefly
70’s vibe goin on and yep…definitely needs vocals, it’s a little bit repetitive to carry itself as an instrumental but it’s an excellent backing track 
Agree with the comments above. didn’t like the guitar sound around 1.17 - a bit too thin and too low in the mix.
Even without a vocalist (I have the same problem) maybe some chopped EDM style vocals higher up in the mix would lift this a lot.
