I have inserted REVerence on the stereo out channel but when doing a mix-down the output result is very “dry” compared to what I am hearing when just replaying the mix. Am I missing something?
A) Try setting up REVerence as an effects channel and set up sends on the individual tracks you’d like to have reverb on. Make sure the REVerence is 100% effect and not direct signal. B) If you’re using as an insert on the stereo out for mastering I guess you would blend direct and wet signal. I think plan A gives you much more control over reverb levels.
