is reverse playback possible?

Only by reversing the file (audio menu) or via scrub, as far as I can tell.

shuttle play reverse (in my key commands it uses numberpad #1
you have 1X play, 2X, 4X and 8X forward and backward.

But… I don’t know if you can capture the results if that is your desire.
worth an experiment.
