I see some shortcuts related to using the Number-Pad to jump the playback back to the start of the score/flow. However, being on a laptop, I don’t have a number-pad. When I try ⌘G and hit enter/bar 1, nothing happens.
The only workaround I have is that when I go to the “Play”-Mode and use ⌘G , it does actually move the playback head back to the beginning.
Any advice or am I doing the best way currently possible?
You can set whichever key command you like for Begin playback from start of flow.
Do you know how to do this? Is that the kind of thing you’re looking for?

⌘G in Write mode scrolls to that bar in the current flow.
The command you want is Move Playhead to Start of Flow.
You can just press the button in the Transport:
