I’m working with a file I imported via MXL from Finale into Dorico. In this project I had some rhythm section parts using “rhythmic notation” (as Finale called it). The way they look in Dorico now is like this:
If I right click and go to Voices/Rhythmic Slashes/Normal Notes they show the pitches I input just fine (all the notes are are currently written as middle line B’s). But if I switch back to Slashes With Stems it displays the note heads way below the staff.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave
Can you attach the project, or at least a handful of bars sufficient to reproduce the problem?
Thanks for the reply, here’s an example.

You’ve set a fixed slash position for these:
Select All / Edit / Filter / Voices / All Slash Voices, then unclick that Property:
Thanks, Fred. I do see the slash position offset, but when I go to Select All / Edit / Filter / Voices / All Slash Voices it’s not possible to see the slash position offset switch. I can correct them one note at a time, but not globally for some reason. Any suggestions on what I’m missing?
I’m not sure then. It works fine for me. Gif below:

What software are you using to create the gif capture of your screen? That’s very helpful.
When I follow that procedure the Properties panel doesn’t look the same for me.
But if I select just one of the measures with the offset slash voice and then go through the filter it works fine.
Thanks,
Dave
Update - If I follow your suggestion on the single measure file I uploaded above it works perfectly, it’s only when I try this on a full project that it’s not showing the slash position option.
I’m using CleanShot X for screen captures. I’m not sure why that workflow isn’t working for you other than you might have something else selected that’s not a Slash Voice. You’ll only get that toggle when you only have Slash Voices selected.
