Rhythmic (slash) Notation and articulations

Two questions:

  1. How do I add an arpeggio symbol to a diamond rhythmic notation? I want to. indicate a rolled whole-note chord
  2. When I add accents to rhythmic slash notes, the accents are placed in the top space of the staff. Can I reposition them to be above the staff?

  1. Engraving Options > Arpeggio Signs > Rhythmic Slashes > “Show arpeggio signs”

  2. You could select the accent symbol(s) in Engrave Mode and manually adjust OR Engraving Options > Articulations > Advanced Options > Accent > “Do not allow in staff” (this will affect all accents everywhere in the universe)
