Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
What a loss!! My condolences to his family. 
I was so surprised when I heard the news. And saddened. Normally this stuff doesn’t hit me that hard, but his passing did. I met him once, at my College graduation, where he was an honorary doctor’s recipient (or whatever it’s called). He had to shake the hands of hundreds of students, literally, and he literally never stopped smiling. Such a good sport, and so genuine. Such a sad loss.
