Now there’s sad news for Canadians… he became a fixture in our culture, even if the majority didd’t love his music… hard living, hard playing, one of a kind. Died of natural causes, age 77.

While touring from Toronto to Vancouver (in the seventy’s),
we stopped off in Banff one evening and saw ‘Stompin Tom’ do his thang.

And he was stomping away the whole show. It was great!

R.I.P. Tom.

BTW
On the show with him that night was a lil known (at that time)
young singer by the name of K.D.Lang.
