Title says it all really. The off-line Normalise function only offers peak normalisation. I’d like to add a loudness normalisation option.
Why? For referencing. It’s great that we have a built-in loudness meter in the Mixer’s master section. I’d find it useful to be able to batch process a bunch of reference files to the same loudness to make objective comparison easy, with no need for dedicated A/B plug-ins, or lining things up in the mixer or control room before comparing — just import my pool of reference clips, drop into the project and know what I’m listening to.
