Hi, when i press the monitor button in Cubase, the sound in my headphones sounds very much like a robot. Is there a way to make it sound normal?? I´ve been trying to figure it out for 2 hours already and i´m sick of it

OS, Cubase Version, audio interface, ASIO driver, signal, signal path, same on speakers or just on headphones…?
Otherwise this would be a guessing game 
Totally agree.
But that said, I’m up for a bit of a game. I’m guessing that you have inadvertently created two different signal paths and then combining them somewhere downstream.
