Hello … I have a handful of Maxell QD2 quickdisks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_floppy_disk#Mitsumi.27s_.22Quick_Disk.22_3-inch_floppies) on which I recorded MIDI data 20 years ago. I used a Roland PR-100 to write to the disks, and I’d like to hear what the files sound like.
Problem: no access to a QD drive, much less one in working condition which reads Roland’s format.
Does anyone know of a commercial service for this type of thing? I’m also looking into solution 2 (buy a Roland MT-100 or Roland PR-100), but very few seem to be available at any reasonable price)…
