The Black Dog seems to be a feature of many creative people’s lives. 
Soo true.
And these reports are the ones we hear about because
the people involved are famous.
I can imagine that many other highly creative
folk (that are not famous) are also going thru this type of life crisis.
Especially in our business.
There is probably a book waiting to be written on the topic.

Man, thanks for posting this. I never knew… I wonder how far his cancer had progressed before being discovered. I went thru the same treatment for same cancer around the same time but wasn’t all that bad for me( highly relative, I know). Poor guy; at least he had love in his life till the end.
