We did this during lockdown in 2020, all recording our parts at home. Originally used the audio from the drummer’s E-Drum module because the midi data just wouldn’t map or sync well at all. I’ve spent some time & fixed that now and used some lovely ambient acoustic drum samples. Made a huge difference!

Thanks, yes I’m sure her neighbours enjoyed that, they were all home that’s for sure! She’s in Hungary, the drummer is in France. One of the nice things about the internet, we can do stuff like this.
Amazing. There were a lot of good remote recordings that came out of Covid. This one is excellent.
Great stuff! I always enjoy your posts. It’s amazing that folks can do collaborations like this on a worldwide basis. I can’t even begin to imagine the work involved to make something like this a reality. As much as I despise some things about modern technology, other things simply amaze me. This type of technology is one of those things, for sure.
Cheers, yes it was a real labour of love. The silver lining of that lockdown was that we had plenty of time to do stuff like this, just for fun. I spent countless hours in my pyjamas. Even making the video, I sat for hours learning how to use video editing software, I’d never done that before either.
By contrast, I had written a whole album in 2021, then we all had to go back to work and I’m only just starting to get those songs finished now
