Rosetta for learning a new language? Ha! try Cubase instead.

Aloha guys, just a crazy lil insight here

Even tho’ I do not know the German language, I find that because I know
Cubase sooo well, I can follow some the German tuts
on Youtube without too much problem.

It’ an Ah! ‘So that’s what that is called’. sort of thang.

Perhaps this can become a new approach to learning a new language.

Find a subject about which you know very very well,
and then find an on-line video about it in another language.

You might be surprised how much language you can quickly pick up simply
because you know the topic soo well.

Guess I have too much time on my hands today.

It is now possible to install Cubase 7 in portuguese (my first language). The funny thing is that I am so accustomed with english version that I took some time to get used again. I was looking for commands in english even in the portuguese version

Yep, that works quite well
Many of the video interviews from Musikmesse are in german but that’s usually not much of a problem for me. Although German and Dutch are quite similar, so it’s a bit easier for me.
