Steinberg showed off this feature in C9 - running audio into Retrologue.
Anyone using this feature? Are we able to use this feature with other VST3 synths?

Yes, if the Instrument allows to route the Audio input.
It sort of works, but, frankly, i was very under impressed with the performance. Speaking here about Retrologue/2.
You have to set-up the matrix so it receives audio on the ‘side-chain’ input and then route an audio track to that. I’ve never been able to get it sound better than a cheap pre-amp even with the input values at maximum. Perhaps it works better in some of the other instruments. I’ve tried sending in vocal tracks, synth tracks, guitar tracks and the results were very unimpressive.
The idea is great, the implementation seems poor.
