Is there a way to route windows system audio, from let’s say iTunes or VLC player, into Cubase audio track ? so I can hear it thru room correction EQ plug-in in the Cubase’s control room ?
A cable from your windows audio/motherboard to your ASIO audio interface.
Depends on your audio interface, (which you are not mentioning) so check its manual.

As already been said, some audio interfaces provide loopback (RME for instance). With my RME UC I can easily record playback from Amazon Music, Youtube, Mediaplayer or any other playback application in my Cubase.
