I’m trying to record with an apollo 16 but can’t get any mic or guitar line in sound to cubase.
Here’s my setup:
I plugged a microphone into a grace preamp model 101 (where i turn on the 48v) which goes to a d’addario modular snake (XLR to DB25). The DB25 then goes into line in 1-8 port in apollo 16. I see the meters moving on the apollo and on the console app on track analog 1 which output is routed to Line 1 and mirrored to monitor. Then I hear the mic sound trough one speaker. On cubase, I created a mono track and a mono input bus called “mic in” and set it to apollo 16’s line 1. I route to the mono track input, arm the track and turn on the monitor icon, but no sound is going to cubase. Nothing shows in the track meter.
Am i missing something?
