Routing the metronome to a separate audio output?

Hi all,

I’m a pretty new basic user, is there a way to have the metronome sound sent to a separate audio channel that can go to the drummer? I use several VST sounds so don’t want the click sound coming through the main audio output front of house.

TIA

Add an Output Channel in the Mixer, at the top, set to the port connected to your drummers’ headphone, at the bottom name it “Hans” or whatever your drummers’ name
Set the Metro Channel output (top of the channel) in the Mixer to that output Channel. Now only Hans gets the click.

If you want to send the click (or any other channel signal) to a specific Group or Output channel, click the sending channels’ “e” button and add send targets in the “Sends” section.

Perfect, thank you!

Well bit of a gap since I posted this but finally I’ve got round to trying it. I can’t figure out how to get 2 separate audio outputs one for the main out and the metronome only for the drummer. No matter what I di it either all comes out the headphone jack to the drummer or to the USB. I can only choose one main audio output in audio set up, all outputs are visible but I don’t see the USB. Any further assistance greatly appreciated!

In the mixer channel click e and use sends to another channel.

Devices/Connections/Audio “+” add output and assign. Use channel sends (click “e” as suggested) to send to IEM etc
