hi,im just wondering when i want to record the output of a vst instrument to an audio track is it still the same procedure as few years ago?

And you are just too lazy to try or look it up yourself, or what exactly is the problem…? 
i googled it and didnt see any new way of doing it,hence my question on here,just to be sure

send vst output to a group…create an audio track and set its input as the group track…
