RT2 gain levels

I have been using the RT2 in Reaper. I have the gains at about 65%. The sound seems good but the waveform is very small on the screen bar.
I will try to post a screenshot . My Reaper set up is default mostly. I think that the slider level in Reaper is full on default,no?
What would you do? Its for multitracking acoustic instruments.

Learn about level meters, about mic preamps and gain. Having the gains at about 65% does not mean anything, without knowing the Signal / Microphone. Set gain so you have a healthy signal level,not at a percentage.
