I’m talking about the stock ruler, not the ruler track.
I do edit audios a lot everyday, I don’t how many times i miss clicked it. My zoom order is following right after I locate the time on ruler, so if I miss click it then I already zoomed in a few times, so I need to zoom out and locate once more. It’s soo time consuming.
Some people say I can add a ruler track and put it in the divided area under the stock ruler, it works but not perfectly, it’s not following the grid type that I set, it’s really hard to locate on the beginning of a bar which is very important for me to edit audios precisely.
Other people say I can turn on the “locate time on empty space” but there are lot of different tracks all over the place in my project, I need to find a blank space then click it, plus there is no bar numbers near it, I need to eye ball it.
I’ve tried many solutions but none of em works out, only perfect solution would be adjustable height ruler, that way I can have a bigger space to click on. I just want to locate anywhere I want more easily.
