Run plugins on external computer?

Hi there :slight_smile:

I recently discovered that recording in 24 bit/96kHz mode sounds great. Unfortunately, my computer is not able to run the same amount of plugins as I am used to when recording in 24b/41kHz mode.

I was thinking: is it possible to install my VST plugins on an external (windows7) computer so I can join the power of both?

If you can wait a couple of weeks, VE pro will let you don exactly that, and even better, you won’t need a soundcard on this other PC, as it is all done over Ethernet.
