Running versions older than C6 with V7 installed

Am I correct that I can have the ability to run C5.5. 6.5 or 7.0? I want to know if I should “export” the older versions before installing v7 instead.

If you have a licence for C7 it allows you to run all previous version.

I’m running Cubase 6.5 and 7 in OSX and it runs great (aside from the occasional crash from C7).

I have Cubase SX 3.0, 4, 5 and 6 all installed and they run without a hitch separately. I don’t like moving a project from one version of Cubase to another. Can you tell?
