Same problem importing audio into Montage after updating to 10.0.10

The first thing I checked after updating Wavelab Elements 10 to version 10.0.10 (and restarting the computer, just in case) was creating a new audio montage from a stereo wav file (Track 1), then adding a second stereo track (Track 2), and then importing another stereo wav file (same sample rate and bits as the first) to that track in the montage. There is a brief pause, and then Wavelab simply closes. This is exactly what was happening before the new update. I’ve tried all sorts of variations, but it happens every time. Yet, this never happens when I do exactly the same actions with Wavelab Elements 9.5 (which I now continue to use): it works normally and perfectly.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Wavelab 10, even after the update? If not, what could be causing this? How can it be fixed? Unfortunately, it renders Wavelab 10 unusable and useless for me.

I can’t reproduce this problem. Do you have a crash log?

Hope these two logs are helpful.

Under Windows, you can generate one crash dump from WaveLab if you do so:
While pressing the Alternate key (press first and maintain), select “Global preferences” from the WaveLab menu with the mouse.
In that case, there is a new tab called “Diagnostics”. There you can activate several functions.
Activate the option “Enable crash report”. Quit and relaunch WaveLab.
If a crash happens, one crash dump is generated.

Error report generated as zip file. Can’t attach it here, I get a “too large” message under ‘Add files’. Extracted the report files. Of the four files, only one file is visible under ‘Add files’, i.e., ‘crashdump.dmp’, but can’t attach that, either, I get another “too large” message. Can I email the zip file to you?

I send you a PM
