What is the snap for in the sample editor? It doesn’t seem to follow the same settings as the project window.

Snap
Restricts horizontal movement and positioning to the specific positions.
Follow doesn’t seem to work either in Cubase Pro 10.5.12.
I am trying to have the snap point snap to the cursor after moving it to a transient.
Update: I forgot I made a macro for this years ago and just found it but the questions still remain the same.
Snap in the sample editor is independent from the project window
So the next question is where do you set the grid values, I have everything showing in the sample editors window. I feel like I have done this before and don’t know why this hasn’t been a question before, I guess I have just never really needed it before now.
I think the sample editor grid is fixed to the smallest ruler value.
