Sample Library folder - best practice for different steinberg apps

Recently I bought Absolute 6, so I got Halion 7 and Groove Agent. Before I had Halion 7 SE and Groove Agent SE installed. What is the best practice: store all sample libraries in one place, f.e. “steinberg-content” or for each app in separate place f.e. “Halion7-content, GrooveAgent-content”? etc. I already had libraries installed from Dorico in different folders…

I would think it does not matter that much? I have a separate SSD disk for sample libraries, and on that I have one Steinberg folder, one Native Instruments folder, one Spectrasonics folder etc… As long as the different companies’ library managers are configured to on their own “master” folder on the disk, I let the library managers handle the rest.

I also use Dorico but I only have one folder for Steinberg libraries in general. Remember that the “Dorico libraries” can also be used within Cubendo, and vice versa.

Thanks @eirik_myhr, I will do according your dvice.

I set all content to install to a seperate SSD drive as well. Works fine and doesn’t bog down the system drive.
