Sample Score

I may be missing this but are there any sample scores written for Dorico that can be downloaded to see a piece of music that actually functions and what it will sound like? There is plenty of music out there that is not copyrighted which would help show the abilities and functions of this notation program.

I have been using Finale for over 20 years and they have always had sample pieces to show how the program functions and how a score sounds when setup correctly.

The concept of Dorico is excellent and I am sure it probably will work quite well (the video tutorials have some music being played and I assume those are done in the program).

We’ve not yet had a chance to integrate any sample projects into the installer. We’re hoping to do this very soon. In the meantime, you can grab a few Dorico projects from this thread, where a couple of people have entered a few of Bach’s Goldberg Variations into Dorico.
