I wasn’t sure if I use that one correctly, but according to Halion’s manual you can assign for instance Velocity to Sample Start in modulation matrix which should change sample start position based on velocity. Well it doesn’t.
In the sample editor or sample zone section, have you also adjusted the “Start Range” setting?
The modulation occurs within this range and not from zero onward.
