SampleFuel synths migration to Steinberg Licensing?

I am a fan of the SampleFuel synths that run in Halion.

I own Poly and Wave via the Hybrid Bundle plus Pad Motion Layers, all of which have been updated to the new Steinberg Licensing.

I also own Pad Motion and Cycle both of which still use the eLicense system being phased out.

I emailed SampleFuel some time ago and they said they were migrating to the new licensing system, this is evident by the update of those that are actually sold by Steinberg.

As regards Pad Motion and Cycle I have not seen any vouchers for update to the new system and nothing is on the website.

I was wondering if any of the many people on the forum know anything more regarding the update of licensing for their remaining synths.

I was recently wondering the same thing yesterday when my USB eLicenser temporarily stopped working and noticed Pad Motion Presets turn red in Halion7.Had forgotten there was an older Pad Motion that preceded Layers .I bet there will be a lot of people who are not aware this is going to happen as they’ll just assume they migrated it onto Steinberg licensing same as i did.
Was thinking of sending a support request

I just got an email reply from Samplefuel and they state;

‘The process is nearly complete for the migration of those remaining libraries. We have most of what we need. Once we have all the materials from Steinberg (which I’m hoping will be sometime within this next week), they’ll be ready for transfer. Of course, we will notify all customers when this happens. So be on the lookout for that.’

I have also just checked my vouchers on the MySteinberg and there was one for updating Cycle, which I have applied.

Keep an eye out for these license updates.

Back in September, I also contacted both Sample Fuel and Steinberg about my Pad Motion and Pad Motion Layers licenses. Just as @Dave_Riley reported above, Sample Fuel said they were working on it.

Over two months later, I still haven’t heard anything more about the transition to Steinberg licensing. Does anyone else have more recent information? Thanks in advance.

It turns out I was wrong about Pad Motion Layers – it’s been moved to Steinberg licensing. But still no word about Pad Motion.

Is it possible that the reason why Pad Motion is not being migrated is that Pad Motion Layers is considered an upgrade, so that Pad Motion falls into the category of products for which upgrading is the only migration path?

If that’s what they are thinking, I disagree. Pad Motion and Pad Motion Layers are related but are different products.
