Here is a feature request I would like to see implemented.
It’s good that you can meticulously customise the amp envelope of the Sampler, however, every time I load a sample I have to change the ADSR, and in the current way it’s designed makes me to do many clicks for simple things.
For example, if I want to increase the Release, I have to:
- Click in the Mod button of the Amp section
- Move the release all the way up to the right side (but oh wait, it can’t go more than 1 second because you have to Zoom Out the thing so you can move the slider more!)
- Adjust the Zoom manually
- Move the Release again until the desired value.
Four steps for moving one ADSR value (once you realize the complications then you eventually will pass the 2nd point because at this point you have learned than you ALWAYS have to zoom out first before moving the ADSR, so it can be reduced to 3 steps.)
Instead, I would like to see an option to show always the ADSR as 4 different knobs in the Main Page of the sampler:
It would be cool to see the same for the Filter, but at least implement it for the Amp, it would reduce the steps down to only 1 step (or 2 steps if you add them behind a “ADSR button” or something like that).
If I want to make the ADSR more complex and I want to shape the curves of every line then I will click in the Mod button like it currently is, but for quick and single ADSR modifications I think it’s necessary to show them as knobs in the main page. As an electronic music producer that always works with samplers, this would improve the workflow a lot.
