Steinberg should update sampler track to work similar to Serato Sampler. Auto Find Samples(Chop) and Stem Seperation would be great additions to the sampler track.

Auto-Chop
This is already possible with the SLICE - Transient Mode functionality (section indicated as 1). You can then send the chopped audio to Groove Agent (SE), where it will be assigned to individual pads. You can use the icon indicated as “2” for this.
This icon is invisible? Close the right zone, or open the Sampler Track in a separate window. (icon 3)
Re-create pattern with MIDI
Below the SLICE options, you will then find a MIDI connector icon. You can use it to drag&drop a MIDI clip to the very same MIDI/instrument track, and you´re ready to go.
Stem Separation
With some help from SpectraLayers this could be achieved, but that´s of course another purchase, and would also require the SamplerTrack to…
- support ARA
- be multisample/multitrack.
